High Croft is the name of the private croft on the Isle of Colonsay from where the core botanical is hand gathered – in this case the mighty bramble. Picked in the Autumn and frozen for year round use, the tangy bramble fruit and the addition of clementine peel and some cinnamon gives the gin a more traditional juniper-spice forward style. Mix with a good neutral tonic water and garnish with red berries and a slice of red apple. Bottled at 43.4% abv.Colonsay Beverages was established in 2007 and originally strarted by crafting beer on the island. In 2016 they worked with Langley Distillery, Birningham to create the Wild Island gin.
